Parasailing is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that reminds one of a parachute, known as a parasail wing.

Floating high above the turquoise waters of Boracay is an experience that combines exhilarating adventure with breathtaking serenity. Imagine being gently lifted from a speedboat, a vibrant parachute catching the tropical breeze, as the world-famous White Beach shrinks into a pristine arc of white sand below. This is Boracay parasailing, a must-do activity that offers a unique perspective of the island's beauty.

Unlike intense watersports, parasailing in Boracay is a peaceful and surprisingly tranquil experience. The initial rush of the ascent gives way to a quiet, peaceful glide through the sky. From this bird's-eye view, you'll witness the entire coastline, with its lush hills and crystalline waters.

The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender or wing and person into the air. If the boat is powerful enough, two or three people can parasail behind it at the same time. The parascender has little or no control over the parachute.

What to expect from your parasailing adventure:

The boat ride: Your adventure begins with a thrilling speedboat ride from White Beach to the floating water sports station.

The ascent: After being securely strapped into a harness, you'll be launched skyward, with a vivid parachute inflating behind you.

The flight: The 15-minute flight offers ample time to take in the panoramic views and feel the wind on your face.

The landing: You'll either land gently back on the boat's platform or, for an extra splash of fun, request a refreshing dip in the ocean before landing.

Essential tips for your trip:

Best time to go: Aim for the morning for the calmest waters and clearest views, though afternoon flights offer a spectacular golden hour glow.

What to wear: A swimsuit or quick-dry clothes are ideal. You will be barefoot on the boat. Secure your sunglasses with a strap and leave hats and loose items on shore.

Capture the moment: Many operators offer photography and video packages, often with an Insta360 camera, so you can focus on the view and leave the filming to the pros.

Inclusion:

Parasailing for 15 minutes

FREE shuttle service from Station 1, 2, or 3 hotel to the water activities site/station. One way only.

Duration of Activity: 15 Minutes
