Oceanarium

The Oceanarium is home to 14,000 marine creatures from around 277 species, all indigenous to the Philippines and Southeast Asia. Its sheer size and diversity make it one of the world's best public aquariums. The Oceanarium is a stunning walkthrough of the watery depths featuring seven sections and containing 1,900 cubic meters of seawater. At the heart of the Oceanarium is the main attraction - a 25-meter-long, 220° curved walkway tunnel with a spectacular underwater view of amazing sea creatures swimming overhead.

The water source for the Oceanarium is filtered water from Manila Bay. A special process is done to ensure that the seawater is suitable for marine life. It has an educational activity area, unique function rooms for special events, and bi-level shark and stingray viewing facilities.

Symphony Evening Show

We proudly introduce Symphony, a merry fusion of earth's basic elements - water, fire, air, and light to ignite Manila Bay's night sky with larger-than-life distinct characters from the sea.

Using the latest multimedia technology, Symphony is a majestic display of huge water fountains, the tallest in the Philippines reaching 40 meters or 120 feet. Symphony has more depth, creating a 2D effect as you enter an ethnic and mysterious world filled with new entertaining animated marine life characters in breathtaking fluid motion and vibrancy.

Check out Manila Ocean Park's newest and most engaging animal interaction to date! Sharks and Rays Encounter is an exciting attraction for a fun urban adventure.

Located in the Aquatica area, its crystal clear outdoor pool is divided into three zones filled with various species of friendly sharks, stingrays, and starfishes. Go beyond aquarium walls and have an extreme and intimate engagement with them. Choose from Aquanaut, Full Body Encounter, and Half Body Encounter for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Dry Encounter allows you to touch stingrays without getting wet.

Birds of Prey Kingdom

Manila Ocean Park’s newest attraction called the Birds of Prey Kingdom features one of the most stunning coastal raptors in the country, the Brahminy Kites (Haliastur indus) locally known as Lawin in Tagalog and Banog in the Visayas region. Have a close encounter with these winged wonders within a unique bird sanctuary as they perched on a hanging bridge along the coast of Manila Bay.

Manila Ocean Park has entered into a partnership with The Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau (PAWB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the loan of Brahminy Kites (Haliastur indus) species for public education, appreciation, and other conservation-oriented purposes.

Sea Lion Show

Meet the adorable sea lions of South America as they bring you valuable information on environmental conservation. It is also a fantastic show for all, highlighting their special skills and unique characteristics plus a chance to get a kiss with a souvenir photo.

All-Star Bird Show

Our fine feathered friends provide awesome tricks, amazing stunts, guest participation, and an important environmental message for their audience. These intelligent birds consist of macaws, cockatoos, and eagles and provide remarkable showmanship and high-flying thrills.

Jellies Exhibit

Jellyfish are some of the most beautiful creatures in the ocean. They are commonly known as “dancing sea fairies”, gracefully gliding below and on the surface. The Jellies Exhibit has various species with a fascinating display of multimedia effects and breathtaking music. Know more about these transparent marine wonders that have been around for millions of years.

Penguin Talk Show

The country's first animated talking penguin is finally here! Experience real-time digital puppetry in a theater setting for the Penguin Talk Show. Time to interact with Hamboo the Penguin! Sing, laugh, and get silly in an interactive & dynamic show for all ages.

Manila Ocean Park is proud to introduce the first penguin park facility in the country. Trails to Antarctica: The Penguin Quest brings you closer to the coldest and most mysterious place on earth. Take a journey to discover a world like no other. It features a walk-through exhibit where you can learn more about the frozen continent, live Humboldt penguins in the Penguin Exhibit, and a freezing Snow Village. All these in one exciting adventure zone for the whole family.

We are proud to announce the birth of our precious First Humboldt Baby Penguin in the Philippines last July 8, 2014. Kaya, the baby penguin achieved its first swim milestone and will join the rest of the penguin colony. Another penguin baby by the name of Araw arrived last November 14.

Fish Spa (2nd Level)

Take pampering to a whole new level at the Fish Spa. Have a relaxing moment as doctor fishes nibble dead skin cells from your tired feet, leaving you with rejuvenated skin and a refreshing feeling the natural way. Manila Ocean Park’s (MOP) Back of the House is the “scientific core” of the Oceanarium’s operations. It is MOP’s newest attraction that utilizes scientific knowledge to explain MOP’s success in maintaining marine life under its care. This is a fun and educational tour for students and those who want to pursue higher learning in marine science.
